I DID IT!
I did it. Yes, I had purple streaks put into my hair when I visited my hairdresser earlier today. Strictly speaking, they're not purple streaks, they are violet streaks. I have a few streaks at the back of my hair and on one side of my hair. It only cost me £30 (about $35). And of course I gave Giampiero, my Italian hairdresser, a ten per cent tip. During my haircut, Giampiero and I bored each other silly as we talked about our respective football teams, Inter Milan and Leeds United. I'm a little disappointed as the violet streaks don't stand out enough. Next time, I'll have more streaks put in. I'm still in shock, not by my streaks but how fast my hair is greying!
