I THINK I MAY BE ALL SEXED UP

Here, though the site allows "adult content ... including images or videos that contain nudity or sexual activity", I haven't switched on a warning advising readers that there may be sensitive content in my blog for two reasons.

First, a Sensitive Content Warning hardly seems necessary given that my only followers are those who are or were members of Adult FriendFinder (AFF). Perhaps I will show such a warning if I ever escape the AFF bubble here.

Second, and more important, I think I may be sexed up. On AFF, I blogged quite a bit though far from a lot about sex. I've blogged about my swinging days, my sex parties for couples and, more recently, my fantasy exploits as Robin Hood the porn star. There's only so much I can blog about sex. However, I will activate a Sensitive Content Warning if I want to blog about sex because I don't want to offend any sensitive readers from AFF!

If you blog here, have you activated a Sensitive Content Warning for those reading your blog?

However, I'm a little unclear what constitutes adult content here. Perhaps this post includes adult content with its references to swinging, sex parties and porn? If I forget to activate an adult content warning, I'm sure Google will do so on my behalf.

Do you think this blog post warrants a Sensitive Content Warning?

I've noticed that when I compile a blog post offsite to copy-and-paste here, I'm still typing in #**TITLE** for my title to appear in bold, *Questions* for my italicised questions, and [image1], [image2] etc where I want my images to appear. it seems I have some way to go before my ingrained AFF habits disappear!

  1. I've belatedly decided to turn on my 'Sensitive Content Warning' just in case since I submitted this blog post.
I don't want to be banned from this site ... well, at least not yet!

    1. I activated mine as even though I won't be posting any erotica and definitely no nude photos here, do often swear or did anyway on AFF, which was in large part due to my frustrations there..lol.

    2. Joy - you reply has been retrieved. It was spammed, not by me I hasten to add.

  2. I wasn't planning on activating that notice. Then again, now, you have me thinking. 🤔

    1. I wasn't planning activating it until I submitted my post. It dawned on me that Google probably have software that detects certain words, so I thought I'd play safe and activate it. I know it means people have to do an extra click to get to my blog posts.
I hope you weren't offended by my adult content!

  3. I turned it on. It's not like I'm writing erotica but I figured using a duck chip clip as a nipple clamp qualifies. 😄

    1. I've now managed to retrieve your initial comment. For some reason, it was spammed (not by me!)

  4. I rarely blogged about sex before, and have no intention of doing so now. My HNW days may turn into exaggerated stories like someone I remember from long ago, on a different site. Unless I start talking sex, it's staying off.

I don't really think it warrants one, no. You're not explicitly speaking of sex.

I don't think the post warrants a warning but I'm just playing it safe.

  5. The warning was there when I entered.... and no, I do not think this specific post warranted it... IMO

The site's Community Guidelines only seem to mention adult images or videos. The guidelines don't mention adult text, not that the text in my post was particularly adult in content.
I'm presuming, perhaps wrongly, that Google uses software to pick up certain words in posts submitted here.

  6. I have a potty mouth, and I plan to carry on with the HNW tradition here, so I turned on the warning.

    1. For some reason and certainly not anything I did, your comment got spammed. Having used my considerable IT skills, I've now retrieved it!

    2. No worries. My first reply was I put the warning up on mine although they have been tame so far compared to what I used to post on the other site. No more erotica nor body shots for me on this site as that was strictly for AFF.I will however the odd time here probably talk about sex at some point, so have decided to keep my warning up..

    4. I guess the site does not like what I had to say in my original comment that has disappeared three times now..

    5. Your third comment got through. I think it's more of a glitch.

    6. I would think so as my original reply did not go against any policy here at all.

    9. I have had a few comment glitches when I've tried. This is an old system and it's not surprising that there's still crap they haven't worked out.

    10. Maybe last night there was some kind of glitch?

    11. I like a good glitch. Glitches remind me of AFF!

    12. Aff should be renamed All Fucking Flaws.😂😂😂

    13. That one deserves a standing ovation!

    14. I could have sworn I commented yesterday, but I don't see mine here either. I'll assume it was a glitch but I did mention the duck shaped clips being used for a different purpose (which I shall not name here).

    16. Smarty - you did leave a comment here. Though your comment came through in my email notifications, it didn't show up here for me to reply.
      Joy's and JN's comments didn't show up.
Perhaps the first experienced glitch on this site?

    17. Although not a "glitch" per se I've noticed the response time here is very slow - for example, trying to open a post from my reading list.

    18. My experience is different to yours. Until this post when a few comments didn't show up for me to reply to, everything is immediate and effectively in real time - just like the golden days on AFF when Level 7+ members' posts, comments etc weren't approved.
My big concern is that we're in an AFF bubble and we can't reach out to other bloggers here without their URL address.
I admit it's a very different experience, for better or worse, here than AFF. But I don't have a choice other than to make the best of it here.

    19. And make the best of it we shall..

    20. Smarty - I may have misread your comment. Here it's a bit annoying that you have to sometimes click twice for someone else's blog post to show up - once to click the URL address (which seems an unnecessary click), and twice to click that you want to continue despite adult content may be contained in the post (which seems necessary given how the site moderates content here).
