WHAT TO DO WITH USED CONDOMS

Image
At this year's Paris Olympics, nearly 250,000 condoms will be distributed to participating athletes. That's just enough for two condoms for each athlete for every day of the Olympic Games. That's a lot of Olympian sex! I've just read an article about 345,000 condoms seized by police in Vietnam - see photo above. The reason for their seizure was the condoms were used condoms that were washed, reshaped, packaged and sold as new condoms. Now that's recycling at its best, or worst! I've also just read an article about a Norwegian woman, called Tonje, who collected and displayed 2,000 used condoms on her bedroom wall - see photo below. I believe she's still collecting and is appealing for others to donate their used condoms so she can hit the 10,000 mark. It seems her fetish is her art! What do or did you do with used condoms? Now I have grandkids, I always blow up any used condoms to make balloons for them to play with! Only kidding. I used to put used condoms i

IT'S NOT JUST ADULT FRIENDFINDER WHO CAN'T COUNT

Image
We all know that Adult FriendFinder was useless, deliberately useless, at counting. Its counts of views of profiles and blog posts were works of fiction, deliberately written to create an impression that more people are interested than is really the case. The cursor only needed to be within an inch or two of something and that would count as a view, never mind the bots and fakes the site probably used to artificially inflate the counts of profiles, etc. On joining this Google-owned site, I presumed that it would be better than AFF at counting. It seems my presumption was misplaced. Now I have no way of ascertaining the number of views each of my 11 blog posts have attracted but I know for sure the view counts will be low. So low that my five year old grandson could easily count the number of views I have here. By the way, he can now count up to a hundred with hardly any mistakes. There are two ways I can find how many views each of my posts have attracted. One way is to click 'Post

MY FIRST BLOG POST

Image
Now banned from Adult FriendFinder (AFF) - it's been well over three weeks now, I'm unable to retrieve my blog posts. There are a few blog posts, mainly the ones that took me many hours to compile, which I'd like retrieve. Stupidly I never saved them elsewhere because, again stupidly, I thought I'd never get banned from such an esteemed site. In particular, I want to retrieve my blog posts about my sex parties, swinging experiences and the the Tour de France. Do you save your blog posts elsewhere for safekeeping? Can you remember your first blog post on AFF or elsewhere? And, if so, what was it about? Mr first 'proper' blog post was on the 1987 film, Personal Services . The film, starring Julie Walters, was about Cynthia Payne, who was dubbed Madam Cyn when she made the headlines of national newspapers here. She ran a brothel at 32 Ambleside Avenue in Streatham, a suburb in south London. She also hosted sex parties; many members of the so-called British establis

GIRLFRIEND #8

Image
When on Adult FriendFinder, I penned a regular series of blog posts about my girlfriends - 16 out of 31 were covered. I'm going to continue this series here not least just to feel a sense of normalcy. Don't worry I have no intention of blogging about all 31 girlfriends (including two wives). Girlfriend #8, and also wife #1, shares a first name with the three famous women shown in the photos above and below. I met girlfriend #8 when I was living in London. She was, and maybe still is, a friend of one of my school friends. I had moved into his flat in north London after living in a multiple-occupied house in the East End. My friend was gay. He quite reasonably liked to keep his gay life separate from straight me. Girlfriend #8 was a self-styled fag hag, a straight woman preferring the safe company of gay men than heterosexual men particularly in pubs and clubs. After a few months with my school friend and I getting on well in his flat, he said that one of his friends was moving i

ESCAPING THE BUBBLE

Image
I must say I'm mightily impressed with the Help Community on this site. In an attempt to escape my bubble and connect with other bloggers on this site, I posted this message to the Help Community: "I've recently joined this site and I'm slowly finding my feet. I've noticed that I'm unable to follow someone's blog unless I have their URL address which is nigh impossible to get as I can't find any way to access blogs. There doesn't seem to be a generic homepage to see what's going on in Blogger, a search function that searches beyond my blog, no lists/feeds of new etc blog posts. I feel trapped in a bubble! How can other bloggers see my blog? And how can I see other people's blogs? Many thanks in advance for any help proffered." Within 15 minutes I had two seemingly useful replies, one from WebLove.PL and another from Adam (who had earlier helped me regarding comments/replies being spammed on my blog posts). I've copied-and-pasted the

SPRING HAS SPRUNG HERE

Image
Spring has definitely sprung here. The weather, though wet, is warmer than it was a few weeks ago. From my kitchen, I often look at my front garden. It's not much of a front garden, mainly a grass lawn surrounded by a privet hedge. Whenever it's wet, I avoid walking over the lawn because I always slip over as it's on a steep incline (or decline depending where you're standing). At the moment, whenever I make coffee or do the washing-up, I can see one daffodil in bloom, several dandelions and a few white flowers of which I don't know their name - they're definitely not daisies. Today I saw a bumblebee doing his rounds collecting nectar and pollen from the daffodil and dandelions before flying off. Also there are a few sparrows presumably nesting in the privet hedge. I love watching the sparrows flit from one hedge to another. Sparrows were very common here but they're not so common now. I like that the sparrows have made my front garden their home. My wif

MY FIRST GLITCH

Image
I've just experienced my first glitch on this site, and I'll remember it as my first kiss though probably not as much as the first time I had sex! Over the last two days, several comments/replies from JN, Smarty and Joy haven't shown up on my blog posts. Despite getting email notifications showing their comments/replies they don't appear on my blog posts. Yesterday I was hoping it was a temporary glitch, but it has happened again today. So I decided to report the glitch to the site. I clicked the circled question mark in the top right hand corner here on the site. Here you can either seek help from or send feedback to the site. There seemed to be two sources of help offered. One was from the site itself by clicking 'visit help forum'. This took me to Blogger's Help Center where there was plenty of advice on how to set up a blog, create a blog post, add images and videos to blog posts, etc. I didn't read any of this advice as it didn't look relevan

STARTING OVER AGAIN

Image
I had an interesting, well slightly interesting discussion with a few friends last night. We talked about what job or career we would pursue if we were starting over again in life. What job or career would you pursue if you were starting over again? Slightly smugly, I said that I couldn't think of too many careers I'd like to pursue than the one I did, a university academic teaching and researching politics. However, when pushed by others, I did relent and say that I perhaps would have liked to have been a lawyer. Being an academic and a lawyer are in some ways quite similar. Both involve research and both involve public speaking. However, there was one caveat I added to my choice. I said there's no way I'd be a lawyer acting for a certain former US President even if I would earn loads of money defending him in his many court cases. I also wouldn't act for Jon Buckheit in his case against Andrew Conru! It's often said that lawyers can't choose their cases. M

I THINK I MAY BE ALL SEXED UP

Image
Here, though the site allows "adult content ... including images or videos that contain nudity or sexual activity", I haven't switched on a warning advising readers that there may be sensitive content in my blog for two reasons. First, a Sensitive Content Warning hardly seems necessary given that my only followers are those who are or were members of Adult FriendFinder (AFF). Perhaps I will show such a warning if I ever escape the AFF bubble here. Second, and more important, I think I may be sexed up. On AFF, I blogged quite a bit though far from a lot about sex. I've blogged about my swinging days, my sex parties for couples and, more recently, my fantasy exploits as Robin Hood the porn star. There's only so much I can blog about sex. However, I will activate a Sensitive Content Warning if I want to blog about sex because I don't want to offend any sensitive readers from AFF! If you blog here, have you activated a Sensitive Content Warning for those reading

POWERS OF ATTORNEY

Image
One of my friends, who lives close to me, has just flown out to Florida. It seems the wife, her stepmother, has placed her father with dementia into a care/nursing home - I'm not sure what care or nursing homes are called in America. Care homes here are residential homes for those who cannot live in their homes even with carers going in; nursing homes are similar but are for those who require routine and ongoing medical treatment. Back to my friend, it seems that her father has given powers of attorney to his wife. Again I don't what Americans call powers of attorney where someone is given legal powers to make decisions on behalf of someone else because they lack mental capacity to make such decisions in their best interests. Here, there are different types of powers of attorney - mainly, lasting (covering health and welfare and property and financial affairs), and enduring power of attorney (covering only property and financial affairs). I know until a couple of years ago, Br

ME AND IT

Image
I don't mean me and It , the title of Stephen King's bestseller book. I mean me and IT, information technology. My relationship with IT isn't a good one. There was a time when I had a good relationship with IT. That was in the 1990s when the internet got rolled out in universities. Though initially developed for military purposes in the US, the internet was generally first used for civilian purposes in universities. Researchers, including university researchers, in America, Britain and France, collaborated with the US Department of Defense in developing the internet. Universities, especially university libraries, were already quite connected. So it was no surprise then that the internet hit academia before, say, business and government. I was ahead of the game at this time but over the last three decades I'm now well behind the game. My five year-old grandson will very soon catch me up and overtake me. He's right now sitting on my lap playing with his iPad. I h

LIFE IN A BUBBLE

Image
Above is Tori Cignarella and Jeremy Cohen on a date during the worst of the covid pandemic in Brooklyn. I thought I'd sketch out some, well nine to be precise, preliminary observations about this site after my first few days of joining. 1. The site isn't that easy to navigate around, particularly when compared to AFF. 2. It's great there's no overt censorship here especially as postings aren't reviewed by the site before being posted. That is a big plus compared to AFF. Obviously, the Blogger site will take down any postings that breach its community guidelines. I haven't read them yet. I'm presuming or at least hoping they are reasonable. 3. So far, I've not encountered any glitches that were so widespread on AFF. I'm sure there will be glitches but Google should have the resources to fix them quickly. 4. I've learnt to keep track of blog posts of my so far few followed bloggers via my 'Reading List'. And I've learnt to keep tra

I AM YET ANOTHER AFF EXILE HERE

Image
This is my first blog post on this blogging platform. I am an exile who under the alias of spunkycumfun recently got banned from the Adult FriendFinder (AFF). I was banned along with with three other members of the awkward squad, JN63JPN, EnigmaInitiative and author51. Perhaps the new Gang of Four! I prefer the post-punk band's Gang of Four reference than the Maoist reference that led to the many deaths during China's so-called Cultural Revolution, but the latter led to the former! The Maoist Gang of Four were the purgers and not the purged, so I'm going up the wrong road here. I'm now reversing! Probably everyone knows why I and others were banned from AFF, so I'll spare you the depressing detail. I realise that only a very few will probably read this post and I realise that only those who know me from AFF will read this post. So there's not much point introducing myself further as I'm probably talking to those who already know me from AFF. All I can say
